Compote – dried fruit, cover with water and cinnamon stick, boil and zest of lemon

Pies or crumbles with ground nuts, oats and rice flour

Healthy Food tips

I’m on a bit of a mission at the moment!

Its short and its simple and its going to my theme for the next few months…. Lets all commit to eating real food for Anti Aging.

By real food I mean food that has not been processed to such an extent that loads of other ingredients have been added and it ends up in a jar, a container, a packet or ends up wrapped a newspaper!
So this it is:

Food for Stay Young
Buy fresh, raw or dried ingredients with only one or a few ingredients. For example, fresh fruits and vegetables, bags of rice, pasta or quinoa, raw nuts and seeds and dried beans and lentils. Most of your meals and snacks should consist of these.

Ensure there are no added ingredients that you a)can’t pronounce or b) have no idea what it means. If you do find some, make sure they are only a small percentage of a meal (5%)

Keep foods with added salt, added sugar or sweetners or added vegetable oils to twice a week. For anyone buying anything out of a pre prepared this will be really hard but see how you go.
To help, here are some suggestions:
  • To flavour foods use freshly chopped herbs, mint, basil, parsley, coriander are perfect at this time of year and spices such as pepper, cumin and coriander seeds – grind your own or bought pre ground.

Tips To Stay Young Forever

All of us want to stay young till our last breath. But most of you don’t do such things in your life to remain healthy and younger throughout your life. Slowly & slowly you call your oldness and become to lie down on the bed whole day. But some of you do a lot to keep yourself younger and healthier till your last breath. However, the number of health conscious persons is increasing and I hope there would be a day when all of us would be well aware of our health and will do every possible things to look younger as well as healthier. For your convenience, I am going to mention a few tips that can help you to keep your oldness and weakness away from you and support you stay young forever.
Tips To Stay Young Forever

  • Do rise early in the morning.
  • Start your day taking a glass of lukewarm water with lemon and honey.
  • Go for a morning walk of at least 500 meters, if you can’t do exercises.
  • If possible, do workout for 20-30 minutes a day including morning walk.
  • Be fresh and take light fruit or grains as your breakfast on a fixed time.
  • Do your lunch on your schedule time and don’t take water in the middle of meal any time.
  • Keep yourself busy in creative works. If you don’t go to any office or do any business, watch light program on your TV to keep yourself busy and happy.
  • If possible, go for evening walk too.
  • Drink at least 5-8 liter water a day.
  • Try to avoid spicy & hard food items. Eat the food which can be easily digested.
  • Take your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed.
  • Try to asleep early so that you can easily wake up before sunrise in the morning.

Stop eating so much

In Okinawa, Japan—home to some of the world's oldest people—centenarians stop eating when they're 80 percent full, says The Blue Zones author Dan Buettner, who studies longevity all over the planet.

They're onto something: Scientists at St. Louis University found that, while both exercising and eating less led to weight loss in the study's volunteers, cutting calories also lowered production of T3, a thyroid hormone that slows metabolism. The researchers believe that lower T3 levels may also slow the aging process.
